Guardians of Middle-earth is an upcoming action real-time strategy fantasy video game being developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The setting of the game is Middle-earth, derived from The Lord of the Rings series, with various tie-ins to the film series of the same name. Guardians of Middle-earth is planned to be released in the Fall of 2012 to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. Guardians of Middle-earth will make its public debut at the Electronic Entertainment Expo from June 5 to 7in 2012.
